Early access, coding agents first

Ask SoReliable

An expert, one call away from your agent.

Ask SoReliable lets your AI agent pause before a risky step and ask a trained, tested expert what to do. The answer comes back with a reason, and your agent carries on.

We're starting with coding agents and opening early access to a small group of teams. Tell us about your agent and we'll be in touch.

When should a coding agent ask?

Most steps don't need a person. These do.

  • Mg

    Merging a change

    The tests pass, but did the agent fix the cause or only the symptom?

  • Ts

    Editing tests

    Changing a test can be the right fix, or the way an agent games its score.

  • Au

    Touching login or payments

    Code where a small mistake costs money or exposes accounts.

  • Rm

    Destructive commands

    Deleting data, rewriting history, dropping a table or force-pushing.

  • Dp

    Deploying

    Shipping to real users when the agent isn't sure the change is safe.

How it works

  1. 1

    Your agent asks

    One tool call with the question, the change, the steps it took and your team's rules. It works as an API, and as an MCP tool for agents that support it.

  2. 2

    A qualified engineer decides

    A software engineer who passed our agent audit training and test reviews it and answers: go ahead, stop, or go ahead with changes.

  3. 3

    Your agent carries on

    It gets the decision and a short reason. Every answer is saved, so the hard cases become tests your agent learns from.

Illustration: the API is in development, so names may change.
const answer = await soreliable.ask({
  question: "Merge this change? It edits a test.",
  diff, // the change your agent made
  steps, // what it ran and why
  playbook: "payments-service",
});

// answer.decision  "go" | "stop" | "go_with_changes"
// answer.reason a short explanation from the engineer

Why you can trust the answer

  • Experts proven on the work

    Every engineer trains on how agents fail, such as weakened tests, hidden shortcuts and hardcoded answers, then passes a test with known answers before taking real questions.

  • Checked while they work

    Questions with known answers are mixed into the live queue, and a second engineer re-checks a sample of decisions.

  • Your rules, not ours

    Decisions follow your team's playbook. We help you write it if you don't have one yet.

  • Your data stays yours

    Questions and answers belong to you, are seen only by the engineers working on them, and are handled under the terms we agree in writing.
